Venus in Scorpio
Solitude.
It’s one of my favorite aspects of Venus in Scorpio, and it’s always welcome after a few weeks of solid socializing with Venus in Libra. Now, we’re apt to become a bit more private and more selective about who we engage with and when. Private as we may be, Venus in Scorpio is also fiercely loyal, so don’t expect an entire month of straight hermitting. Rather, Venus in Scorpio invites quality downtime (rest, recharge, process) so that we may have quality relationship time. Think deep convos, and sharing the intimate pieces of ones soul. Scorpio bonding involves sharing things you won’t share with the whole world, but only a select few. Trust— a Scorpio’s treasure.
What I love about this illustration by @alexisrakun is that it seems to capture some of the best introspective and rejuvenating qualities of Venus in Scorpio.
“‘Til Death do us part” is definitely a Venus in Scorpio statement. In yesterday’s post, I described the value of solitude while Venus travels through Scorpio (10/8-11/1), however there’s also themes of deeply intertwining with others— for better or for worse. Fierce loyalty is great, but we must be cautious that we aren’t holding on *just* to hold on. Scorpio invites us to look deeper- are we holding on to something outworn or toxic because we’re afraid to let go? Or maybe our connection is perfectly healthy— travel down to remember how deep those roots extend to remind yourself why you’re still here.
Venus in Scorpio is a wonderful time to take stock of who is by your side no matter what. It can certainly be a time of deep appreciation! Especially bc Venus isn’t at her sweetest in Scorpio— those of us who don’t live with this placement might find that we respond more defensively during this time. Venus in Scorpio can be Big Bitch energy— and no, this isn’t always a bad thing! As women we are frequently taught to be small, and to forgive too easily. Venus in Scorpio invites you to be fiercely protective of yourself and those who have truly earned your heart.
