With Mercury, Venus and Mars all in mutable signs, we’ve been a bit scattered to say the least. Have you found yourself reaching in a million different directions too? The chaos begins to subdue today, 3/21. Mars’ trine from Saturn is immensely helpful for providing structure and focus. Mars is a bit of a renegade, wildin’ out in Gemini. However, Mars is ready to receive Saturn in Aquarius’s open hand, bearing resources such as time management and discernment. It’s time to trim down the distractions. Do less. Remind yourself of what your primary focuses should be right now.

Venus Enters Aries - 3/21

Also on 3/21, Venus enters Aries, which will also help clear the clutter from the mind. Shake off the excessive circling and launch already. Transitioning from Venus in Pisces, we’ve been dreaming. a lot. “Oh, life would be so perfect if….” Venus’ ingress into Aries sharpens our point of desire. We become too impatient to wait for the angels to descend from the sky and hand us that magical scroll. It’s time to act on those cravings now.

That said, Venus in Aries isn’t the most strategic. Its the thrill of taking a risk, putting all your chips on red, or the shock value of refusing to filter yourself. Venus in Aries invites us to be completely shameless about our desires.

True, this is a bit of a fall from grace for Venus from lofty, softy Pisces. We're less tender, and more aggressive in our passions. Venus in Aries gives us the guts to be completely transparent in our relationships - without much regard for how it might come across. Being honest is more important than being sensitive right now.

Another interesting manifestation of Venus in Aries? This one hails from my years of experience as a stylist behind the salon chair. You are going to want to take a wild risk with your hair, makeup or image this month. Will you finally chop the bangs? Go platinum? If you’ve been dreaming of this shift for a long time, Venus in Aries will give you the guts to go for it! Is this an impulse chop? Best to hold off until Venus is in Taurus next month to see if you’re still interested.

Mercury square Mars - 3/23

Doubling down on the brutal honesty of Aries season, Mercury’s square to Mars could potentially allot daggers to the tongue. Have you ever been in an argument with someone for so long that you forgot what you were arguing about in the first place? With the scattered energy of the mutable square, there’s plenty of room for this sort of unproductive discourse. Maybe ya just need to banter with someone? This is a great aspect for venting.

However, there is plenty of redemption for this irritable aspect. Yup - Mercury and Mars share a mutual reception, which means that despite the antagonism, there are opportunities for growth. With both planets in the terms of Jupiter, sure, we might experience a sense of being overwhelmed - or maybe, we are overinflating the issues a bit. Resist the urge to overexplain yourself. If you find yourself in the crossfires of an irritable exchange, take a breath. But don’t hold back. Both parties have valuable perspectives to offer

Finally. The fire purification ritual we've all been waiting for! Venus locks into the heart of the Sun, light pouring forth offering the most luminous upgrades imaginable. Our planet of love and beauty is renewed, and now, her highest qualities and gifts can be accessed. Due to the similar speed of the Sun and Venus, we are so fortunate that this aspect lasts a while. Take advantage of this window of time for all Venus contemplations and pursuits: 3/24 (9 pm ET) - sunrise on 3/27.

While venus may be debilitated in Aries, this is her sole refuge where her brash tell-it-like-it-is qualities are well received and even advantageous. It's all about intention, right? Mars Conjunct North Node - 3/26

Mars has been nearing collision with the north node of destiny for about two weeks now. This alignment is notoriously tricky, and can indicate a period of unrest, increased destruction, violence and upsets in the world. Today is the moment of the exact conjunction. At the time of this writing (3/17), a story is developing around a violent and racially charged mass shooting of six Asian women at a few different spas in Georgia. I suspect that this will be a week in which the collective conversation around increased violence against Asian-Americans will ramp up. This appears to be a week that continuously ramps up with both heat and intensity - with Mars on the north node as the cherry on top.

This aspect could prove to be important for you if Mars is your ruling planet or your lord of the year. If this is the case, you might expect more of the positive manifestations of this aspect to be served. This is a great time to take that courageous step forward, as you align closer to your purpose. Doors close, and others shall open. . .
