This is an annular, “ring-of-fire” eclipse. In other words, the sky will not turn black, but a ring of fire is observed around the black moon as she aligns with the heart of the Sun. This eclipse will be visible over Indonesia, Singapore, the southern most tip of India and northeast Saudi Arabia.
