Holding the Vision: Saturn leaves Sagittarius with the New Moon

Picture

With a grim political and economic climate, we've been challenged to hold a positive vision for the future. Despite all of the technological breakthroughs, we seem to be collectively held back by politics as usual.

But that is all about to change. If we can help it.

While Saturn has been in Sagittarius for the past 3 years, we formed an ideal vision for the future, which in turn seemed to divide us somewhere on the spectrum between two extremes: embracing an ideal of openness, inclusion and equality, and conversely, a protective ideal of tight borders and secularism. Walls are practical constructs which protect and give order, but they can also be oppressive.

On December 19th, Saturn moves into Capricorn, where we will be held accountable to do the work... to BE the change we want to see in the world, where we can make actual strides toward strengthening our infrastructure in a way that serves us all. Until then, we are reaffirming our vision of what we want to see in the world, and in our individual lives.

Venus perfects her alignment with the Great Attractor, Tuesday, December 12th at 7:59 am EST.

Venus represents our individual values, preferences and pleasure. What is pleasing to you? In Sagittarius, there is no limit to our pleasure, so go big or go home! What if you could have it all ─ no strings attached – what would that look like for you? The Great Attractor is essentially a black-hole-like anomaly that everything in our galaxy seems to be drifting toward. Whatever it is, it’s highly magnetic.

What do you want to draw in? On and around this day, I invite you to partake in a pleasurable ritual. Whether it’s preparing food, practicing yoga or tantra, visualize or invoke your desires to manifest. And as a reminder: be very detailed with what you wish to draw in; as the saying goes, “be careful what you wish for!”

Saturn, the planet of materialization is further amplified at the last degree of the Visionary, Sagittarius. As Saturn prepares to leave this sign, he wants to make sure we have our vision in order, because he will not return to this division of the zodiac for another 27 years!

Also on this day, Mercury aligns with the Sun to birth a new cycle around communication, mental function and self-awareness. Yes, Mercury is still retrograde, so reflection is an integral aspect of reseeding.

New Moon:

2631’ Sagittarius ~

The Sun and Moon auspiciously align at a point known as The Galactic Center, while Saturn at the final degree of Sagittarius enters Capricorn just hours later.

It's as if we are given one last chance to imbue a higher vibration into our collective vision of the future before we go forth to do the work in Capricorn.

The Galactic Center represents TRUTH, CONSCIOUSNESS, LOVE, UNITY, ILLUMINATION and DIVINITY. We are blessed with a cosmic boost of Sagittarian-style confidence that has no limit. And we all know how much we could use the reassurance right now!

Appropriately, the Sabian Image for this degree reads: "the sculptor's vision is taking form."  Who is the sculptor? We are! Together! Our shared creation is not finished; there is still time to modify before we send it to the kiln. It's not too late. Yet. Everything is alive and malleable; water molecules change shape based on our words. So it's here on this cusp that we take responsibility for our own vibration because it affects our participation as a sculptor.

This New Moon is about FREEDOM. Answering to Jupiter in Scorpio, it's the truth that sets us free. Be honest with yourself about your desires and have courage to make changes accordingly. Encapsulated in this New Moon is the possibility for healing and quantum leap in consciousness. Expect more truths to emerge within your own self-awareness and in the collective. In trine to a stationary Pallas Athene, we may have to shift our approach or strategy a bit.  As scientists study the effect of emotions on water, we find that the most potent vibration is GRATITUDE; gratitude has the power to elevate you - no matter what - and that is also true freedom.

This human experience is difficult; we are not all-knowing. Our experience in this life is temporary. But on this new moon, conjunct the galactic center, we can find comfort that our souls are eternal, that we are a part of something much greater and we can be GRATEFUL for this human experience, that is as extraordinary as it is minuscule.

Saturn returns home to Capricorn

on December 19, 2017, where he travels through December 17, 2020.

Pluto has been in Capricorn since 2008, when we suffered the collapse of the housing market and thousands of Americans lost their homes in foreclosure by the banks.

Pluto exposed the festering wounds of our society.

Now Saturn is here to clean it up and we all are called up to help.

Saturn in Capricorn is all about materialization, effort, duty and ambition. This is when we decide what is acceptable and what is not.

Saturn seeks to define order, and Capricorn deals with leadership and the large power structures.

It's been 30 years since Saturn was in Capricorn and our society has evolved A LOT since the 1980's... globalization, corporate growth, the internet. As Saturn prepares to ingress into Capricorn, the FCC threatens to regulate the internet. Net Neutrality is probably going to be a big theme for the next 3 years. The internet has become another dimension of human existence and stands mostly unregulated. It's now that we decide the rules.

We are in a time when children are technologically more advanced than their parents, ushering in a whole new set of issues around regulation on a more local frontier. In the next three years, we might see more programs introduced to help parents regulate their children's online activity.

Saturn/Capricorn also deals withAGE.We now live in an ageing society. The last time Saturn was in Capricorn and Jupiter was in Scorpio was 1959. The Generation born in/around 1959 is the first to rear children AND care for their ageing parents. My mother was born in 1959 and recently expressed that there is no rule book for this! Over the next 3 years, we will collectively try to figure this out. We are living longer, so how does this affect things like retirement, IRA's and social security? How can be better prepare for our own inevitable ageing? And how can we support our elders as they age? I recently saw a brochure for a retirement community which boasted top-notch art classes for their residents; now that's awesome! I hope to see retirement communities begin to look as enticing as a college campus. If you live to be 90, where would you like to be living?  And how will these facilities be funded?

Skin, bones, teeth and hairare also under Saturn/Capricorn's domain. We might see advances in dentistry, skin-care, anti-ageing and even in hip-replacements. Recently, scientists discovered the generesponsible for grey hair and balding - both symptoms of ageing! Let the clinical trials begin.

BOTTOM LINE: WE HAVE EVOLVED PAST THE CURRENT ORDER

It's time for something new. The current order is so corrupt that it is no longer sustainable.

Pluto has been EXPOSING the rot.

The decay is so great that our infrastructure is no longer supportive.

It's time to rebuild.

Winter Solstice 2017

And all of these shifts come to a head when the Sun follows Saturn into Capricorn on December 21st: the shortest day of the year. Candles and strings of tiny lights symbolize the call of the Sun's return.

How special it is to experience a Sun/Saturn conjunction exact on the Winter Solstice! But we will want to watch and see what comes to light. Both planets are on a potent point of prominence known as the "world axis." Events on/around this day may correlate with Saturn's theme in Capricorn and continue to play out over the next 3 years.

As of this writing, the FCC plays to make a judgement. Whatever is decided before December 22nd will not be permanent because Mercury is retrograde. However,Mercury stations directright on this day and beelines it toward Capricorn, where he arrives on January 12th, 2018 (and fully clears his shadow). So PAY ATTENTION on this day, December 22nd: Mercury is stationary, with the Sun and Saturn conjoined on the world axis. Big News.

Additionally,Venus arrives at the Galactic Centerto ground down even more compassion, truth and love on the22nd-23rd. HEART CHAKRA ACTIVATION. Be prepared to be more sensitive at this time. Pull it together again when Venus enters Capricorn and joins Saturn on Christmas.

On December 28th,Mars trines Neptune, which is excellent for spiritual, artistic and healing pursuits. Get creative, raise your compassion and seek your ideal expression. This can also be great for collaborating with others.

Aho Mitakyue Oyasin. May Mother Earth and all her inhabitants be awakened to our unity, and the highest LOVE of the Universe.

Love, peace and unity to ALL....
