Now let’s get into the forecast!
Venus conjunct Neptune + Jupiter 4/27 -4/30
Ethereal and mystifying, Venus forms an otherworldly thruple with Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces. As the dualistic nature of the Pisces fish suggests, this celestial concoction can both elevate us spiritually and drop us into the lusty indulgent side of corporeality.
Overall, this Piscean pool party celebrates a sense of unity – heartfelt, soulful reconvening after a period of marked distance nourishes us on a primordial level. We as human beings need one another. Vulnerability is a virtue, opening doors for mutual care. Venus and Jupiter delight in one another’s company, but especially here in Pisces, where they embrace like long lost kin. Neptune helps to dissolve boundaries, encouraging forgiveness, deep relating, and transcendental bliss.
This trifecta can be quite indulgent! Say yes! This particular combination will never occur again in our lifetime. Let your cup runneth over. This is not the time to skimp on the good stuff. Be safe, of course, but treat yourself to the goodness in life ;)
Feeling choked up? This Pisces pile-up certainly tugs at the heartstrings. A great way to release the energy is to dance, play music, write, communicate your feelings or watch a movie that might conjure tears. Crying is not only healthy, but it helps crack us open where we’ve previously built walls of endurance. It’s time to reach out again.
Mercury enters Gemini, 4/29 – 5/22, 6/13 – 7/4
Whimsical and witty, Mercury in Gemini wields the wordsmith magic. As Mercury is at home in Gemini, the gifts of gab, brilliance and quicksilver inventiveness are more accessible to us for the next two months! Indeed, due to the upcoming Mercury retrograde (5/10- 6/3), which will split its time between Gemini and Taurus, Mercury will enjoy an extended visit home.
While there are definite benefits of a planet in its home sign, it’s not always smooth! Mercury’s job is to be curious, to discover multiple facets of perspective without adhering strongly to one. Doing so would crystalize one’s mind. BORING! The enigma of the multifaceted human mind across time and space is too damn fascinating to die on a hill.
On the flip, Mercury in Gemini will pique our curiosity. It may be more challenging to focus on one distinctive project. Instead, Mercury in Gemini scatters our attention. It’s the season of starting 4 books and finishing one. This is an excellent transit for research, education, discovery and taking nothing seriously. Play, experiment and inquire. But be warned! Mercury in Gemini is known to make mischief – especially once retrograde!
Pluto stations retrograde, 4/29, 28°35’ Capricorn
An aura of eeriness lingers in the air. Pluto’s station combines with the incoming solar eclipse, emanating a gaseous cloud of anticipation. The energy feels so thick you could slice it. Something is coming, but what could it be?
Pluto stations conjure intense emotions; they call upon the ghosts from our past to whisper in our ears. With trepidation, we listen. Like Queen Inanna, Pluto calls us to humbly face the mirrors of our own underworld. It’s only through raw, naked vulnerability that we can find our true source of power.
Pluto stations in a trine to Mercury at the anaretic degree of Taurus – something helpful is revealed to ultimately bring about a deep sense of relief or peace. Pluto stations retrograde in a sextile to Jupiter in Pisces, offering a spiritual component to this station – the ecstasy of divine interconnectedness.
If you have planets or points at the late degrees of the cardinal signs, you are in the midst of your own Pluto transit, which means that this station will be felt in a big way.
Solar Eclipse in Taurus, 4/30/22, partial, 10°28’ Taurus, 4:27 pm ET
Our second eclipse in our Taurus-Scorpio miniseries is upon us. Our first was 11/19/21 at 27° Taurus; this one will also arrive in Taurus, but now at 10°.
While eclipses are commonly thought to be disruptive and “malefic” (they certainly can be), their effects will vary upon individuals. Eclipses are cosmic course correctors, facilitating a cosmic shake-up to life as we know it.
This is the second eclipse in Taurus. It will be visible in the southern portion of South America, with peak visibility toward Antarctica.
Of all the eclipse charts for 2022, this one certainly appears to be the most benign. Ruled by an exalted Venus in Pisces, conjunct a domiciled Jupiter at Venus’ max degree of exaltation, it feels like the big reveals of the eclipse will carry the theme of indulgence, beauty, pleasure, love, romance and comfort. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, however, it’s completely hidden from view. Mercury and Saturn each occupy their domiciles, while Mars holds triplicity. It is quite the stunner of a chart.
This eclipse will be a bigger deal for you if you have planets between 8-12 of the fixed signs.
