Hopefully, Jupiter in Pisces is already offering you a new bounty, a new horizon of opportunity and encourages you to find the blessings. Full Moon 27°50’ Cancer, 1/17/22, 6:48 pm ET

Your Feelings have Value. Your Feelings are Valid. Your Feelings are your compass.

The Cancer Full Moon ripens amidst Capricorn season – an archetype which cultivates respect, expertise, and mastery. The archetype of Capricorn is one which values composure, and the ability to consciously channel one’s emotions into persistence. The Full Moon in Cancer provides the counterbalance: We are human, none of us have it figured out, and it’s ok to be vulnerable.

Emotions are every human being’s first language, and a completely natural compass to help us address discomfort, and the basic need for closeness, warmth and safety. The Cancer Full Moon reminds us that you don’t have to do everything yourself, nor must you follow a rapid path of succession to self-actualize overnight. The Cancer Full Moon reminds us that one cannot draw from an empty well – and that taking the time to care for ourselves on an emotional level is incredibly vital. .

The Full Moon arrives in an exact opposition to Pluto – highlighting the urgent complexity we collectively wade through. It’s normal to hit patches of exhaustion or existential discontent. The Cancer full moon reminds us that periodically unraveling is a biological distress signal that something is not right in our environment. Let this Cancer Full Moon provide encouragement to ask for what you need. Secure those heart-to-heart hugs, hot cocoa and all the snuggles. It helps to know that we aren’t alone in our feelings.

Phase family takes us back to the Cancer New moon of July 20th, 2020, opposite Saturn and Pluto. How have your emotional needs evolved since? This Full Moon offers potent awareness into this process of illuminating new emotional developments. What do you realize you need now more than ever?

On the world stage, the full moon squares VP Kamala Harris’ Libra Sun and Aries Moon. Let’s see if anything develops for her on the world stage.

Uranus stations Direct, 1/18/22, 10°49’ Taurus

Uranus is the planet of rebellion, technology and wild sovereignty. Stationing in a square to stationary Mercury, our brains are abuzz with big ideas – perhaps not fully formed – but exciting, nonetheless. Anxious? The key is to find outlets (whether purposeful or random) for the creative energy to uncoil. Remain curious and see where the tangents lead. Uranus can facilitate significant breakthroughs.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, Uranus can help us to find a way around the barriers. Moving direct, Uranus is ready to help those of you with planets between 10° - 18° of the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) – to do the big brave thing. It’s time to make the move you’ve been pondering back and forth about for a long time. Uranus will give you the nudge to take the plunge!

Collectively, we might expect a surprise or two around the station. Look for reversals, unexpected news and eye-catching developments.

Aquarius season: 1/19 – 2/18

In the northern hemisphere, Aquarius season heralds the peak of winter – a consistent frigidity, static electricity and lots of snow! Saturn lords over the winter months, offering gifts of concentration, focus, and a trimming away of distractions. It’s a time of rationing our energy or behind-the-scenes projects. Aquarius season invites themes of collaboration, planning your world takeover over a round of beers, or collectively brainstorming with your group. Aquarius is a sign who is extremely confident with their POV because they have taken the time to understand.

As much as our airy Aquarius loves to socialize, they are also solitary folk. It’s all about maintaining a proper distance, if you know what I mean. Aquarians tend to keep most of their “stuff” to themselves, preferring to “talk about you instead.” Aquarians don’t wait for others to validate them and truth be told, compliments can make them uncomfortable. Equally, they are skilled at brushing off criticism. Aquarians already know they are cool. And smart. Because they possess an outsider’s perspective, Aquarians are natural infrastructure nerds. They understand what’s missing, how to be inclusive and how to improve the situation for the collective.

Aquarius season is a time of planning ahead, brainstorming and remembering how cool you are (but don’t let it go to your head).

In the spirit of forward motion, Aquarius season features the conclusion of all planetary retrogrades for a solid 12-weeks beginning on 2/3/22. The pace will noticeably pick up as we near the end of Aquarius season.

More specifically known as “secondary progressions,” progressions are a vital predictive technique which utilizes a microcosmic slice of time to determine periods of potent shifts in our lives. Assuming the formula that one day of life equals one year, the first 90-days of life contain seeds of potential for an entire human life span. The perfect companion to working with planetary transits, progressions provide a vivid layer to the predictive astrologer’s toolbox.
